On behalf of the U. S. Department of Education’s Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education (OCTAE), I am pleased to announce the posting of a notice inviting applications (NIA) for new awards for fiscal year (FY) 2025 for the Native American Career and Technical Education Program (NACTEP).  Through this competition, the Department seeks to award $21 million in grant funds to federally-recognized Indian tribes, tribal organizations, Alaska Native entities, and eligible Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA)-funded schools to provide career and technical education programs for Native Americans and Alaska Natives.

Applications for FY 2025 NACTEP funds must be submitted through Grants.gov (http://www.grants.gov) no later than March 10, 2025.

Please stay tuned to the Perkins Collaborative Resource Network (PCRN) where we will be posting detailed instructions for completing the application package and a recorded pre-application webinar walking through the NIA. The webinar will be available on January 24, 2025. If you have questions regarding the competition process, please send an email to NACTEP@ed.gov.
