Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to pass along the 2019 Nomination Letter (DOCX, 92 KB) that was issued to Chief State School Officers (CSSOs) regarding the upcoming 2019 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. As you may recall, beginning in 2016, the program includes recognition of up to 20 outstanding students who demonstrate excellence in career and technical education (CTE).

Please note that each State is requested to submit nominations, including up to 5 CTE students, by November 21, 2018. We encourage you to work with your CSSO during the nomination process for the CTE students. In addition, I have attached the suggested 2019 Suggested Selection Criteria (DOCX, 28 KB) for your reference.

We look forward to recognizing the next class of U.S. Presidential Scholars, including scholars in CTE!
