Dear Colleagues,
In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the U.S. Department of Education is proposing a revision to the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act Consolidated Annual Report (CAR), information collection 1830-0569, to reflect changes made by the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V). As you will recall, under Perkins V, the Department is proposing to collect narrative information and fiscal status reports through the CAR, and performance data through the EDFacts Submission System (ESS). A separate notice inviting public comment on the ESS was issued in an email from me yesterday, November 7, 2018.
Today’s Federal Register includes a notice inviting public comment on this draft Perkins V CAR. Comments will be accepted for 60 days, ending on January 7, 2019. The Federal Register notice is available at the following link: https://www.regulations.gov/document?D=ED-2018-ICCD-0121-0001
To access and review the draft Perkins V CAR and related documents, please visit https://www.regulations.gov/document?D=ED-2018-ICCD-0121-0001.
