On behalf of the Division of Academic and Technical Education (DATE), Happy CTE Month! All through the month of February, we join the nation in celebrating the incredible achievements and contributions that CTE programs have made in preparing students for high-wage, high-skill, and in-demand occupations. We celebrate the administrators, teachers, faculty, counselors, advisors, business and industry partners, parents, and other key stakeholders for their tireless efforts to help students explore, choose, and follow CTE programs and programs of study to earn credentials of value.

Meanwhile, please mark your calendars for one or both upcoming training sessions on the submission of Perkins V State Plans, covering FY 2020-23, via the Perkins State Plan Portal:

Training Session #1: Tuesday, March 3, 2020, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm ET
Training Session #2: Thursday, March 5, 2020, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm ET

Each training sessions will cover the same topics and have the same format.
