I am pleased to officially transmit the OMB-approved Perkins V Consolidated Annual Report (CAR) Guide, #1830-0569. Our office developed this guide to assist each eligible agency in preparing and submitting its annual reports to our office under Perkins V and applicable Federal regulations.
The first submission of annual CAR reports using this guide will not be until December 31, 2020, at which time you will submit narrative information, financial status reports, and enrollment data for FY 2019-20, which is the first year under the newly-authorized Perkins statute. Hopefully having this guide now will help you to seamlessly, efficiently, and effectively transition to the new Perkins V accountability and reporting requirements.
As in year's past, when the time comes, our office will schedule training sessions for State CTE directors and staff on the new CAR guide and Perkins CAR Portal.
